The Tropical pomfret is a deep-bodied saltwater fish found primarily in the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico. It is known as a predatory species that hunts a variety of macrofauna. This species can grow up to about 61 cm in length and weigh over 3 kilograms.
