Where they live
Found in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico, snowy grouper adults inhabit rocky bottoms offshore at depths from 30 to over 500 meters. Juveniles occur inshore, especially along the northeastern U.S. coast.
