The Sicklefin devil ray is a large oceanic ray known for its distinctive sickle-shaped fins. It is mostly solitary but can sometimes be seen in groups. This species feeds on small fish and planktonic crustaceans.

Where they live

Found mainly in open oceans but also near coasts across Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. They dive from surface waters down to nearly 1900 meters deep.
