The Serra Spanish mackerel is a fast, predatory saltwater fish prized by anglers for its speed and fight. It primarily feeds on smaller fish and occasional shrimps and squids. Found in the Atlantic and Caribbean, it shows some seasonal movements but does not migrate extensively.

Where they live

Prefers coastal Atlantic and Caribbean waters with some seasonal movements near Trinidad. Inhabits saltwater areas where smaller schooling fish are abundant.
