The Saithe is a large, sporty fish found in North Atlantic waters. It starts life in coastal areas feeding on plankton before moving to open seas where it preys on fish and cephalopods. Known for its strong fight, it is a popular game fish among anglers.

Where they live

Saithe inhabit coastal waters during their early life, then migrate to deeper pelagic zones up to 360 meters in the North Atlantic and along North American Atlantic coasts.
