The Pink cusk-eel, also known as Kingklip, is a large elongated marine fish found along continental shelves and slopes. It is a predator that hunts squid and other deep-sea prey. This species can reach impressive sizes, growing up to 2 meters in length.

Where they live

Inhabits continental shelf and slope waters at depths from 22 to 1000 meters, found in saltwater regions across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans.
