The Pacific sandperch is a slender fish found along rocky and sandy ocean bottoms. It actively hunts small fish, crustaceans, and worms. This species reaches lengths up to 40 centimeters and is not typically targeted by anglers.

Where they live

Found from shallow waters around 5 meters to depths of 60 meters over rocky and sandy substrates in the Pacific region. It inhabits saltwater, brackish, and freshwater environments.
