The obtuse barracuda is a slender predatory fish known for its blunt jaw and sharp hunting skills. It often forms schools in seagrass beds and rocky reefs, feeding mainly on smaller fish. This species is active during the day and inhabits coastal and reef environments.

Where they live

Found in bays, estuaries, coral reefs, and seagrass beds across the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Mediterranean. Inhabits brackish and saltwater from shallow depths to about 200 meters.
