How to catch Lumpfish
Cyclopterus lumpus

The Lumpfish is a solitary saltwater fish known for its deep body and sucker-like pelvic fins. It inhabits rocky bottoms and occasionally floats among seaweed, showing a strong homing instinct. Despite its unique appearance, it is not considered a game fish.
Where they live
Found in cold to temperate Atlantic and Mediterranean waters, Lumpfish live mainly on rocky sea bottoms from shallow waters down to about 870 meters. They are often solitary and sometimes associate with floating seaweed.
