The honeycomb cowfish is a uniquely shaped, armor-plated fish found near coral reefs. It has a distinctive honeycomb-like pattern and feeds on small invertebrates. This species is generally uncommon and cautious around divers and anglers.
Where they live
Inhabits clear, tropical coral reef waters from shallow depths around 3 meters down to 80 meters, primarily in the Atlantic including the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
