The Guinean barracuda is a large, elongated predator known for its speed and hunting skill. It feeds primarily on fish and shrimps in coastal and brackish waters. A prized game fish, it can grow up to 2 meters long and put up a strong fight.
Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater environments along Atlantic coasts of Africa. Usually inhabits shallow to moderately deep waters down to 75 meters, near estuaries and coastal areas.
