The Grayspotted guitarfish is a moderately sized, elongated ray known for its distinctive gray and blue spots. It inhabits shallow to moderately deep coastal waters where it hunts small marine animals. This species is valued by anglers for sport fishing in African and Indian Ocean regions.

Where they live

Found in saltwater coastal areas of Africa and the Indian Ocean, from shallow waters down to 100 meters deep. Prefers sandy or soft bottoms typical of these regions.
