The Gillbacker sea catfish is a large marine catfish found in brackish and saltwater environments of the Atlantic and Caribbean. It has a typical fusiform body shape and can grow up to 190 cm and weigh up to 50 kg. This predator hunts various fish and macrofauna in shallow waters up to 20 meters deep.
