The Daisy stingray is a coastal species known for inhabiting shallow bays, lagoons, and estuaries in African Atlantic waters. It hunts macrofauna along the seafloor and can reach lengths up to 1 meter. Though not targeted as a gamefish, it plays a role in coastal marine ecosystems.
Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater along the African Atlantic coast, the Daisy stingray inhabits shallow bays, lagoons, and estuaries from 1 to 60 meters deep.
