How to catch Brassy chub
Kyphosus vaigiensis

The Brassy chub is a robust saltwater fish found in reefs and lagoons across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans. It has a short, deep body and can reach up to 70 cm in length. Juveniles feed on small crustaceans among seaweed, while adults shift diet seasonally, including carnivorous and algal feeding.
Where they live
Occurs over hard, algae-coated bottoms in exposed surf-swept outer reef flats, lagoons, and rocky seaward reefs up to 40 meters deep in tropical oceans worldwide.
