The bluenose warehou is a large, cold-water fish found mainly near the seafloor and known for moving upwards at night to hunt. It features a fusiform body and favors rough terrains like canyons and drop-offs. Juveniles often stay near the surface and may gather around floating debris.
Where they live
Bluenose warehou occur in cold saltwater regions across the Atlantic, Pacific, Indian Ocean, and near Africa, typically between 40 and 1500 meters depth over rough ground and canyon edges.
