The Blue runner is a fast, schooling fish commonly found near coasts. Juveniles often associate with floating seaweed mats. It is a predatory fish feeding on smaller fish and various invertebrates.
Where they live
Found in brackish and saltwater environments from shallow coastal areas down to about 100 meters deep, throughout the Atlantic and Mediterranean regions. Juveniles frequent floating seaweed like Sargassum.
