The Blacknose shark is a medium-sized shark known for its distinct dark spot on the tip of its snout. It inhabits warm shallow waters over sandy and coral bottoms. This species is an agile predator feeding mainly on small fishes.

Where they live

Found in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, and Gulf of Mexico on continental and insular shelves at depths from 9 to 64 meters, favoring sandy, shell, and coral bottom habitats.
