The Bigmouth sculpin is a predatory saltwater fish found in the Pacific waters of North America. It has a fusiform body shape and can grow up to 73 cm in length. This species actively hunts a variety of prey including squid and small fish.

Where they live

Found from shallow waters around 25 meters to depths as great as 925 meters in the Pacific Ocean off North America. Prefers varied depths but is primarily a deep-water species.
