Where they live
Found in saltwater regions of the Atlantic, Caribbean, and Gulf of Mexico, the Bar jack inhabits coral reefs and clear coastal waters from shallow zones down to about 35 meters. Juveniles prefer algae-rich areas like Sargassum.
