The Annular seabream is a small, carnivorous fish commonly found in seagrass beds. It has a streamlined body and feeds on a variety of small marine animals. This species is a popular target for anglers in coastal waters.

Where they live

Found mainly in Zostera and Posidonia seagrass beds, as well as sandy bottoms in shallow coastal waters up to 90 meters deep. Common in the Atlantic and Mediterranean regions in brackish and saltwater environments.
